A couple of years ago, because of SEO and online marketing knowledge, me and my family was able to get free accommodations to Villa Krizelna. We were entertained by Miss Tess and Krizelle Ampo, their daughter. The free accommodation to this Bulacan resort came because they found me writing about their nice place and finding my post, they asked if they could have more and so I opted in to asking if we could visit the resort to take photos and shoot short nice videos of the location and the amenities inside the resort. Philippine Amusement Industry

Lately i have been to malls and never forget to at least visit places i love looking at every time. This is the reason why i enjoy the company of my beautiful daughter and caring wife. The three of us loves going to places next to nature but setting aside, we also love playing at some of the pioneer and growing amusements in Metro Manila malls and there’s nowhere else we could go but to amusement parks or amusements in malls here in Manila if we are not in places close to nature and also to escape the office gadgets that i am used to seeing.

Philippines is not much of an industrialized country but the people here have always lived and loved going to malls even if it’s just merely window shopping or small chit chats without even a need of eating a decent cozy meal inside expensive restaurants or fast foods. A small bunch of food at the food courts where you can find smorgasbord combos of food is enough to be shared amongst the family members. Offers cheap yet enticing varieties that are very common here in the Philippines and to my amusement, i believe they never get out of place as theirs have choices beyond just the ordinary and tiring “fastfood” menus.

Some of the most common amusements that abound by the numbers in most of the Philippine malls are Quantum, Time Zone and Worlds of Fun where kids love staying almost all the time spending money and playing around with parents who look and feel as if they were in their younger years again. I am proud to say i’m one of them now.

Yes it is very expensive to most but to me and my family, it’s just a way of relieving stress out of the weekend schedules in work, school and in front of the computer and adding up to my credit card bills,,,hehehe. If it’s not the amusement ambiance, it’s gotta be the close to nature sight seeing and walks along the bushes and beside the growing mountains and freezing cold showers in falls as we go falls hunting and swimming in their small and big ponds.

In our many visits recently to amusements in malls, we noticed that Philippine amusements are although growing by the numbers here and there, has still one missed part in them, they all earn a part of the piece of the pie on each other’s behalf and not even knowing that aside from earning, they contribute to the growth of the Philippine amusement industry in particular. Contrary to this claim and observation, there are right now 2 medium unknown amusements in the middle of the rural vicinity of Recto, Manila popularly known as University Belt, that has totally closed due to bankruptcy of the owner.

I have seen them have lots of visitors just last year and i am surprised that it is now closed as i come over for my regular work. The other one, is Dynamic Chi Hung who has a potential with respect to machines but does not have the right people managing the place as one friend have played in their place once and felt dismayed at kind of service that they render to customers. The other one is Live Studio that closed out i guess because they failed to give highlights to their previous set up as a live set up of videoke singing stage.

If only they would have seen the market they have as potential if they pursued their style technique. I really felt sorry for the management as some of the employees i already came close to talking about the details of the closing out .

Time Zone in one way or the other is the most advanced amusement park having branches in almost all prestigious and big malls here in the Philippines. Time Zone amusement uses the most advanced technology in terms of modification and providing complete and total amusement and fun to avid and regular visitors in Philippine amusement parks contrary to what others would say they are the ones who give it to amusement patrons.

They even introduced the use of data cards and almost managed to remove all token simulations incorporated in their redemption machines, ticket machines, arcades, driving games, medal games and the like. Worlds of fun which is the slow developing among the three is content at giving total amusement to kids by outnumbering their competition in terms of kiddie rides and other games and amusement machines that target the small kids attention instead of the biggest market which is the student and young adult population of amusement regulars.

Quantum on the other hand i would say just plays it safe by just staying somewhere in the middle of the battle ground. Although there’s nothing much to show about data as to how much the Philippine amusement industry has grown and earned and contributed to the growth of the country’s amusement industry, there is still enough data to show by just a mere look at their places that the owners and operators indeed earn a significant amount of the Philippine peso to give growth to the economy and they do still continue to grow and would still as many estimate this coming year of the pig.

Get That Rest you Need-123 bucks in Laguna Falls?

This time i would like to share to you ,my future readers of this blog site an experience i couldn’t get out of my mind to this day in one of the best laguna resorts. Just in time before it started to rain,my family(my daughter, wife and i) got in to a place i only saw on the internet. This was due to my curiosty to viewing some of the most ameable places here in the Philippines—waterfalls—and i stumbled upon a treasure. Yes!!! A treasure….

  • Taytay Falls ^^—–^^

Never had my eyes feasted in such a beauty, although i couldn’t really remember the exact numeric value as to how far the place is from Metro Manila but i’d like to tell you for a fact that you won’t even think of it when you get there. We only spent 123 bucks for a bus ride from Buendia to get to the town proper where it belonged,Sta Cruz Laguna. From there,we took 2 more jeepney rides and a trike.

Along the way, we saw numerous fields filled with tomatoes, ampalaya, sayote and beans- Majayjay’s season vegies.’Twas realy very unforgettable an experience. My daughter and wife swore they’d return with me some time October to catch the “lansones fever”. We heard its 20 bucks a kilo at most in there (50-90 in Manila) but its not the price but the picking….yes, you’ll be the one to pick it yourself at your choice. A coconut so fresh only costs 10 bucks a piece. There were lots of horses there but sad to say the locals don’t even bother to make it one of the attractions as renting horses for the visitors, could make extra money out of it than just using them to transport vegies. Unluckily, a short horseback rideis what i look for  but my wife didn’t approve of it.

The entrance—20 bucks/head

Yes, only 20 bucks per head compared to those hot springs as they claim…..ranging from 100 to 200 or so /head. And comparing…Wheeew, the water is crystal clear and naturally freezing “as in smokin” unlike those filled with who knows what. Rent a tent to sleep near the running water? Man, only 150 bucks overnight, 350 bucks for the room, so big for the three of us with double deckers, your own c.r. and a fan. The bed? complete with sheets and pillows at the price….really nice.

  • The people

When me, my daughter, my wife took a walk in the afternoon, we passed by a beautiful native bamboo house and an old woman let us in and showed us the house, the plants and gave her a bunch of fresh papayas and chili for “sinigang” for free. Me and my daughter took a walk while she is having the conversation with the oldies in the house and we passed by a sayote plantation. The owner, an old man saw us and gave us some sayote(4pcs.) again–”free”, upon hearing us adore his vegies. That same afternoon we walked in a field full of near-ripe tomatoes….. bought 2 kls. at 40 bucks uuuuhhhhhh,,, just like a dream.

  • The site ((((((((((((

The parking area is filled with pomelo trees with fruits as big as a baby’s head. At night? The site of fireflies roaming around the trees along the cliff on the path to the falls about a kilometer long is the best i’ve seen since i can’t remember anymore. One of the sites i have always longed seeing since i read the article. Overlooking from the room we rented is a view of the mountain full of mist and fog in the early morning sun. Sorry we weren’t able to take any actual picture of the unexplainable beauty.

  • The next time

The next time you plan to escape from that hectic busy schedule you have in your SEO/SEM life……well,, i would recommend the place, 123 bucks away. Just don’t forget that you’re there to enjoy and savour the fresh air and serenity of the place and not to drink,,,, just like some bastards i saw, “one actually got his eyelid sliced caused by a broken bottle when he slipped due to drinking”.

“Lukayo” Ritual Docu Had a TV Show Suspended, Featured by a Blogger

I have been stalking lately some blogs that i find interesting a few days now and i found this treasure from a post made by a local blogger (Cyberbaguioboy). It’s quite a long story to tell about how i came to find this post that he made. I really found so much interest in it as a side of my persona shouts out the beauty in his blog post.

It was actually a documentary made by Howie Severino, a known journalist turned to be working lately for GMA network. I admit it was one of the most enjoyable moments i had in my life since i visited the firefly-infested freezing-waters of the “Majayjay Falls” with my wife and daughter just before the summer ended last May 2006. The smile that it left on my face never ceased to end until my hands found its way to make a post also about it.

It is one of natures best if i may describe it my way and many artists i believe would share the same thought with me. Featuring such a beauty and an art rolled down in one is indeed a very rare case and in this particular blog post a rare treasure. Right after having posted some comments on Cyberbaguioboy’s interesting blog posts, i at once had my wordpress dashboard open and got my itchy fingers typing about his story and the archived video he found in YouTube (this link featured all the videos of the lukayo ritual).

I adored the comment made by a national artist Ramon Obusan. What he said is very true not only to himself but to the beauty of the human anatomy. Likewise, i pity father Rudy Carabuena’s concept of the male penis as he relates to be  “bastos”, “immoral”… i’m sorry for him about his concept and i cannot blame him for it because he serves for the interest of the catholic church and for the catholics as a whole.

You can view the whole video footage that is kindly uploaded through YouTube by some concerned citizen. It could be viewed from the link i provided somewhere along this post paragraphs-(YouTube) link above.
